Projects
In February 2022, I had the pleasure of working with my Principles of Marketing Professor, Dr. Thomas Cannon, in creating extra work for me to start developing my skills as a Marketing professional.
I dabbled in Graphic design, and Digital Marketing and presented what I learned through a Powerpoint presentation.
In the Summer of 2022, I took on a Social Media Marketing internship with Gova Creative. I learned valuable skills with Gova and created many social media posts for various clients. I have also assisted Gova with Digital Marketing campaigns and even voice-acted in a promotional product video for a client!

This internship jump-started my true passion for Marketing, and I hope to participate in more projects in my career!
March 2020, when COVID was most prevalent, I decided to put myself out there and find a job to find out how my life will continue from this point on. I would either sit and wait, or go out and find an opportunity.

Since I was still in high school, I wasn't sure what job I wanted to pursue, but this small business was willing to let me discover myself and help them build their business from the ground up. They ultimately decided not to continue the business two years later, but this was still a very important time for me to learn and grow into my marketing career.
In my Marketing Research class Junior Year of August 2022, we were tasked with a semester-long group project that had us research a famous company/brand and create either a Concept Test or Benchmarking survey to send out to real people in the world.

For this group project, my team and I chose the "Crumbl Cookie" brand to create a Concept Test. We wanted to see if people would be interested in Crumbl Cookies more if we introduced a cookie cake, and the results that we found through our survey were interesting.
From December 2022 to February 2023, I was a part of the DEI Symposium Planning Committee.

I was in charge of creating marketing materials for the Symposium. Examples include the presentation, flyers, and agendas. I was also in charge of introducing our keynote speaker and monitoring Q&A sessions.

A key takeaway working in this event is being able to adapt under pressure and prepare yourself for any surprises that may arise during the event.
I started my internship with H-E-B towards the end of May 2023, and I will finish my internship by the end of July 2023.

As I go through the 10-week internship, I realize just how important your impact is in the workplace for a large corporation. Getting to see behind-the-scenes of each marketing campaign has truly been amazing to witness and be a part of.

I am making sure to take advantage of the resources and connections I'm making now and taking them with me as I continue my marketing career.
In my previous job, I felt like I wasn't growing or developing my skills as a marketer and designer. I knew that I had to find something else that would help me find my place in the world, so I decided to start my own little business.

I'm currently working hard on making this work, so I am willing to do anything to learn as much as I can and pursue my passion as an artist.
